The Instructional Designer Senior Specialist is an expert in learning and technology and support s the Office of Curriculum and Scholarship (OCS) in the College of Medicine by collaborating with faculty to promote educational strategies and innovations that increase learner engagement and improve learning outcomes. The core function s of the Instructional Designer include (1) c onsulting with faculty to develop and manage eLearning modules, guided learnings, textbooks, multimedia, and digital and print materials to support learning, scholarsh ip, and proposals for funding; (2) c ollaborating with faculty to pilot new educational technologies and instructional approaches ; (3) p roviding technical support and training for educational technologies ; and (4) d esigning, implementing, and evaluating faculty development programs related to instruction and educational technology .
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
