LOCATION : San Antonio, TX

PAY RATE : $43.05 / hour

Summary :

Maintain, repair, and modify aircraft structures, systems, and components, including hydraulics, fuel, flight controls, landing gear, and engines.

Troubleshoot malfunctions using airframe and power plant systems to restore operation.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical orders, and manufacturer manuals.

Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, installation, sealing, painting, and shimming on critical structures.

Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modifications and repairs.

Work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs.

Ensure safety compliance with Hazardous Energy and Lockout / Tagout procedures.

Collaborate with team members across disciplines to meet cost and schedule goals.

100% onsite in San Antonio, TX; must pass an assessment at end of training.

Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of relevant aircraft maintenance / repair experience.

Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements :

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and operate hand / power tools in a production environment.

Work in confined / elevated spaces; lift up to 35 lbs (occasional team lift for heavier loads).

Frequent reaching, balancing, and extended standing.

Exposure to noise, solvents, sealants, and hazardous materials.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with E-4B aircraft and heavy maintenance.

Forklift or powered elevating equipment operation.
