Job Description

Job Description

At FEI Systems, we create innovative technology solutions to improve the delivery of health and human services because we know when cumbersome administrative processes stand in the way, those who need it most are often left without access to proper care and support. From comprehensive case management software to disaster recovery services and content management information systems used in delivering foreign aid, our solutions are improving the lives of millions of people. We’re looking for a product owner who shares our commitment to leveraging technology to make a real impact in the world – a professional who knows, beyond all else, that the quality of our products and services is only as good as the company we keep.

Job Summary :

The Product Owner (PO) for Sales Support & Demo Environments will manage the product backlog and roadmap for the team responsible for maintaining and enhancing FEI’s demo sites used in customer and prospect demonstrations. This role bridges the gap between business stakeholders who define demo vision and storytelling and the technical teams who build and support the demo environments. The Product Owner ensures that demo platforms effectively showcase FEI’s product capabilities, align with sales strategy, and drive growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

Backlog & Roadmap Management

  • Own and prioritize the backlog for demo environment enhancements, ensuring alignment with sales and marketing goals.
  • Translate business needs from Sales, Strategy, and SMEs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain a transparent, continuously groomed backlog balancing new feature requests, maintenance needs, and technical debt.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner closely with Business SMEs who curate demo scripts and envision the product storytelling experience.
  • Collaborate with the technical team (developers, QA, DevOps) to plan, execute, and deliver enhancements efficiently.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, refinement, and reviews to ensure clarity, alignment, and value delivery.
  • Act as the voice of the business for all demo-related development efforts, ensuring priorities are data-driven and customer-focused.
  • Execution & Quality

  • Define success metrics for demo environment stability, performance, and business impact.
  • Ensure that demo sites are consistent with the latest product features and configurations.
  • Coordinate release schedules, manage environment refreshes, and oversee QA for demo builds.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could affect demo reliability or alignment with sales narratives.
  • Strategic Contribution

  • Continuously assess and recommend improvements to enhance the storytelling, usability, and scalability of demo environments.
  • Support sales leadership with analytics and insights about demo usage, effectiveness, and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to ensure demo capabilities reflect the latest positioning and value propositions.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or equivalent role in software or health IT.
  • Proven experience managing backlogs and coordinating between business and technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban), and release management processes.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; ability to translate business vision into technical requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience supporting sales enablement, demo environments, or SaaS product showcase platforms.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology, Medicaid / LTSS systems, or government health programs.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (CSPO, PSPO, etc.)
  • Location : Remote

Status : Full-time position with full company benefits
