Overview

Owner and operator of a family-owned, award-winning tavern seeks a full-time Manager to assist in managing the business. John & Molly's Tavern in Eastampton, NJ, is looking for a candidate who can contribute to both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Who are we? We are a family-owned tavern housed in a historic 19th-century building. We serve creatively crafted drinks, fresh seafood, steaks, sautés, and a variety of beers.

Candidate profile The ideal candidate is adaptable, demonstrates initiative and leadership, and works well as a team player.

The primary focus of the role is to assist the business owner in leading and managing both BOH & FOH operations.

  • BOH management experience in a casual restaurant / tavern that serves liquor is helpful
  • Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
  • Expo experience helpful (training provided)
  • Can reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Can work in a standing position for long periods
  • Ordering, receiving, and inventory
  • Managing fewer than 5 employees
