Essential duties include, but are not limited to :
- Stock grocery items on to shelves and assure that items are neatly organized in the locations assigned.
- Safely use a cutting blade or knife.
- Organize, upkeep, rotate, and maintain back stock in good order and easily accessible.
- Oversee the quality of products after they are placed on sales floor for customers to purchase.
- Build neat and organized merchandise displays.
- Provide undivided attention and customer service to patrons.
- Know the location of merchandise.
- Suggest Company products and services to customers.
- Operate equipment and machinery such as baler, forklift, etc. based on operational needs.
- Other duties common to the Grocery department may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Skills / Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of Grocery department, stocking experience preferredHigh school diploma / GED or equivalent work preferredMust be 18 years of ageBilingual (English & Spanish)
