Overview

Job Summary : Tutor Doctor of SWNGS is seeking a highly qualified and experienced STEM Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and academic support to students of various age groups and educational levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to connect with students on an individual level. This position will involve providing one-on-one instruction to students in their homes / online or at a designated location.

Responsibilities

• Tailor lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student.
• Provide instruction in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Teach science subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science.
• Prepare students for standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT, including test-taking strategies and practice exams.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with parents / guardians to provide updates on student performance and address any concerns.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
