Associate Attorney

Our firm is looking for a passionate and dedicated consumer protection litigator to advocate for tenants facing unsafe and un livable housing conditions. The ideal candidate has experience running their own civil litigation caseload while keeping meticulous time. This role requires someone who can communicate effectively with clients, support staff and the Courts while confidently litigating housing claims. Compensation

$90,000 - $100,000 yearly

Responsibilities

• Represent tenants in housing claims, ensuring their legal rights are upheld
• Develop case strategies and oversee paralegals and case managers
• Analyze lease agreements, building codes, and habitability laws to build strong legal arguments
• Zealously advocate against Defendants who try to wriggle out of responsibility by claiming that their violations are no big deal
• Regularly consult with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and courts to move cases forward
• Prepare and file motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
• Argue motions in court, conduct depositions, and represent clients in hearings and trials
• Maintain excellent client relationships through clear, compassionate, and frequent communication
• Coordinating growth of the firm through systems reviews and management of new staff
• Stay informed about local developments, community events, and legal updates to identify potential client opportunities and ensure compliance with evolving laws and regulations
