What will you do?

A day in the life of a Training Lead at VF looks a little like this. This position is responsible for ensuring Operations associates, both temporary and permanent employees, receive top-of-the-line training. The Trainer must be motivated, organized, and demonstrate enthusiasm and good communication skills. Along with the other Trainers, this individual will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day training on all roles across the distribution center in a fast-paced environment. Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Onboarding and training new employees, ensuring they understand warehouse operations and safety procedures, and maintaining training materials.
• Train and teach all aspects of Operations
• Ensure consistency in training proper procedures for each department
• Facilitate training sessions based on weekly departmental training requirements and building needs as well as cross training when needed.
• Facilitate Safety Courses
• Review training compliance reports to help identify training opportunities.
• Identify areas for improvement for associates and provide additional training support where needed
• Evaluate associate performances throughout the training program and give recommendations to Operations
• Effectively present and facilitate course content to associates in a positive manner
• Proficiently assist in developing training materials
• Review current Standard Operating Procedures for accuracy and request updates as needed
• Ensure all training documents are updated as processes are added or changed
• Develop strategic partnerships with Operations leadership to ensure training meets the needs of operations
• Cross train associates into different areas
• Help with weekly coaching and give tips to help improve employee performance
• Creating Training Materials for SOP & Job Aids to support training programs
• Sensitivity : Internal Use
• Assist with any Continuous Improvements where needed
• Equipment Certifications : Certifying employees to operate powered industrial trucks
