Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist

A company is looking for a Staff Applied Machine Learning Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

Own and improve recommendation systems while exploring new machine learning applications

Design and interpret experiments, ensuring statistical rigor and addressing bias

Collaborate across teams to integrate machine learning improvements into products

Required Qualifications

At least 7 years of software design and building experience, with 3 years focused on consumer-facing ML models

Proven experience integrating machine learning into end-user products

Fluency in Python and ML libraries such as TensorFlow and scikit-learn

Hands-on experience with modern model architectures and techniques

Ability to identify and promote high-leverage ML opportunities within the organization
