Dental Assistant

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Dental Assistant at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. This potential contract position offers :

40 hours per week (shall be available to work Tuesday through Friday 08 : 00am-04 : 30pm and some Saturdays 8 : 00am-12 : 00pm)
Medical / Dental / Vision / 401k
Opportunity to provide oral healthcare to our nation's veterans

Position requirements :

One year experience working as a dental assistant

High school diploma or GED

Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred but not required

BLS thru the AHA

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative healthcare setting

Provide chair-side assistance for general and specialty dental procedures to include restorative, prosthodontic and surgical procedures.

Prepare the treatment rooms and instruments for patient care ensuring appropriateness as to procedure being delivered.

Retract tissue, suction, and pass instruments during procedures.

Proficient in taking digital radiographs
