Travel Step-Down / Med-Surg Telemetry RN - $2,024 per week

These nurses will float between the Step Down Unit and Med-Surg Telemetry Unit, providing care to intermediate-level (IMC) patients in a smaller hospital setting that offers complex patient care. Key Responsibilities :

• Provide safe, competent care to Step Down and Med-Surg Telemetry patients
• Float between assigned units as needed
• Administer and titrate cardiac and insulin drips
• Act as Charge Nurse when required
• Accurately document care using Meditech
• Utilize Omnicell for medication administration Required Skills & Experience :
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Step Down, IMC, or Telemetry preferred)
• First-time travelers welcome
• Proficient in : - Foley catheter insertion - Administering subcutaneous insulin - Managing potassium runs - Using and interpreting cardiac monitors - Identifying and reporting low potassium levels and low oxygen saturations Certifications Required :
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Preferred Technology :
• Medication System : Omnicell
• Documentation System : Meditech
