Position Summary The Social Media Strategist will lead social media storytelling across real estate, corporate news, and events, and spearhead the Empire State Building influencer marketing program. The position reports to the Director of Social Media and supports ESRT’s identity as a NYC-focused REIT and owner of the iconic Empire State Building.
Responsibilities Assist with content calendar creation and management, including asset selection, copy, tracking link creation, and scheduling of social posts aligned with brand objectives
Manage social media campaigns and content development (real estate content, corporate news / events, leadership appearances, and brand initiatives)
Collaborate with the content team to execute ESRT content production
Partner with leasing team and external brokers to craft social content that drives web traffic and leasing
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on social media engagement and influencer relations
Create content for ESRT7s Instagram and LinkedIn
Grow influencer programs through outreach, relationship management, events, and one-off visits
Identify, vet, and coordinate influencers (arrivals and tickets)
Lead contract and collaboration negotiations with influencer teams
Edit operating hours across Google, TripAdvisor, Twitter, and Facebook
Review and edit content calendars from external social agencies for clarity and accuracy
Manage expenses and annual budget for influencer relations

Measurable growth in engagement metrics (followers, likes, shares, reach)
Engaging social series for business partners, brokers, tenants, and partners
Strong influencer relationships and successful collaborations
Accurate public-facing information that maintains credibility
Innovative content that reinforces brand recognition
Effective budget management for influencer relations and social initiatives
Required Skills / Abilities Detail-oriented, results-driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Knowledge of Sprout, Salesforce, and social scheduling tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Education & Experience 4+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds

Salary is listed as a range : $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Final compensation is based on factors such as education, experience, location, and certifications. ESRT provides discretionary annual bonuses.
