Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding families through the funeral planning process, providing bereavement support, and ensuring that all services are conducted with dignity and respect. Must be able to work some weekends.
- Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of funeral services, including transportation, preparation, and presentation of the deceased.
- Provide bereavement support to families, offering guidance and assistance during their time of loss.
- Conduct consultations with families to discuss their needs and preferences for funeral arrangements.
- Prepare necessary documentation, including death certificates and permits.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and regulations in all procedures.
- Manage event planning for memorial services, including venue selection, catering, and logistics.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to prepare the deceased for viewing or burial.
- Perform cosmetology tasks to enhance the appearance of the deceased as requested by families.
- Handle heavy lifting associated with moving caskets and other equipment.
- Engage in sales activities related to funeral products and services.
- We have an onsite crematory- operation of it will be required. Training available
- Experience
Candidates should possess a background in funeral directing or a related field. Key experience includes :
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to embalming and body preparation.
- Familiarity with bereavement support practices.
- Proven customer service skills with an emphasis on empathy and compassion.
- Experience in event planning is preferred.
- Skills in sanitation practices related to funeral services.
- Basic cosmetology knowledge is beneficial.
- Ability to perform dissection as required for embalming procedures.

Pay : $59,220.00 - $80,000.00 per year
