Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and maintaining accurate data in our systems. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates with strong typing skills, basic computer knowledge, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities :
Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer databases or spreadsheets
Verify data accuracy and correct errors as needed
Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
Review and organize documents before data entry
Generate routine reports and assist with data audits
Secure information by completing data backups
Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies regarding data handling
Requirements
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
Proven experience in data entry or similar clerical role is a plus, but not required
Fast typing skills (35–50+ WPM preferred)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
