Network Engineer

TEKsystems is looking to onboard a Network Engineer for a 6+ month engagement onsite in De Pere, WI. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day operational work while the full time employees are engaged with critical project work. Most of the work will be incidents and service requests (queue work), Systems maintenance (patches, upgrades...), and small projects (LP, routing cleanups, etc.). This will be onsite in De Pere working Monday through Thurs onsite and remote on Fridays.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and recommending network technologies and vendor products to meet business needs.
• Configure, test, and document network equipment and systems following established designs and specifications.
• Perform routine networking tasks to ensure reliability, availability, and stability across a multi-site enterprise environment.
• Provide technical support by responding to incidents and service requests from associate team members as needed.
• Assist in configuring firewall security settings, access permissions, and data provisions.
• Support network upgrades or expansion projects, including hardware / software installation and integration testing.
• Contribute to documentation for installation procedures, network topology, and troubleshooting guides.
• Follow IT and business policies, ensuring adherence to compliance and audit requirements.
• Participate in the on-call rotation for escalated issues.

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00 / hr.
