  • Be part of the leadership team of one of the fastest growing restaraunts in Bozeman! We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. This position is perfect for individuals with a strong background in food service management and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.

    • Duties
    • Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and presentation.
    • Be proficient in all line positions and be available to work the line during busy days.
    • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
    • Manage shift schedules and delegate tasks to ensure all aspects of food production are met.
    • Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
    • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards.
    • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
    • Support catering efforts for special events or functions as required.
    • Skills
    • Proven experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing shifts effectively.
    • Strong knowledge of food production techniques and best practices in a restaurant setting.
    • Excellent food preparation skills with an eye for detail in presentation.
    • Familiarity with hospitality principles and customer service excellence.
    • Experience in food service management, including inventory control and supply ordering.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being capable of independent decision-making.
    • Knowledge of catering services is a plus, particularly for special events or dietary department needs.

      Job Type : Full-time

      Pay : From $25.00 per hour

      Expected hours : 35 - 45 per week
