  • ARRT - Cardiac Interventional Radiography
  • ARRT Radiography
  • CCI - Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
  • CCI - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • CCI - Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • BLS

Must-Have :

  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions

  • Description :

    This entry-level position works under the supervision and direction of a mentor or preceptor.

    The role is focused on delivering specialized cardiovascular and radiologic technology services to adult and pediatric patient populations.

    These services aid medical staff in the diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of conditions, defects, and diseases.

    Responsibilities include providing safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various healthcare settings.

    Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.

    Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical outcomes and service expectations.

    Utilize specialized cardiovascular and radiologic equipment and techniques to perform a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.

    Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm that all required elements are completed and documented.

    Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare study data for physician reporting.

    Perform quality control checks and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer's guidelines.

    Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies and promote improvements in care.

    Other duties may be assigned as needed.

    Candidates will be required to take 5-8 days of call per month, including weekends.

    Skills in medical imaging, medical terminology, and patient positioning are essential.

    A high level of initiative, effort, and commitment to completing assignments efficiently is expected.

    Knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology relevant to the specialty is important.

    Overall, the role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
