What will you be doing?
Align with Clickstop's Core Values to drive our culture and business forward.Accurately procuring materials based on demand plan to support current and new opportunities.Becoming well-versed in the ordering system to ensure we never run out of stock, quickly replace stock, and / or effectively communicate with all affected teams on inventory status.Cultivating relationships with internal and external teams and vendors.Working with suppliers to negotiate best pricing for quality material to meet budget goals.Performing new product research and new vendor sourcing.Evaluating commodity pricing and exchange rates to compare with current purchase pricing.Understanding items being purchased and the quality expected for each category.What do we value in this role?
Two-year degree in related field.1-2 years of experience in an inventory, procurement or buyer role, or fasteners industry.Adaptable to our ERP system.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Strategic : Understands the global supply chain and ripple effect this position has on the company.Growth-Oriented : Highly motivated to seek continuous growth for yourself, the team, and the company.Communication : Comfortable in difficult conversations and holding others accountable.Decisive : Analyzes data quickly to make informed decisions.Responsible : Knows their strengths, those of the team, and utilizes them in their work.Flexible : Learns rapidly and adapts to change quickly.Curious : Challenges existing methods to allow the team and company to stay nimble.What Clickstop provides :
