Position Summary :
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Plant Controller to lead the financial operations of our North East, Pennsylvania manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and financial transparency across the plant. As a key member of the site leadership team, the Plant Controller will partner cross-functionally to influence decision-making, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with corporate standards.

What You'll Do :
- Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Own the development, analysis, and presentation of the annual plant budget, including direct labor, material yields, overheads, and product standard costs.
- Lead monthly close and quarterly forecast cycles, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.
- Provide strategic insights and financial modeling to support capital investments, Productivity and other cost reduction initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Performance Management
- Oversee the creation and communication of daily, weekly, and period-end KPI dashboards with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost control across labor, overhead, and throughput.
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure robust internal controls over plant assets and inventories.
- Enforce adherence to corporate accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a high-performing finance and inventory control team responsible for production reporting and inventory accuracy.
- Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Process Optimization
- Lead digital transformation efforts to automate data collection and reporting, enabling deeper analytics and faster insights.
- Partner with Operations and IT to streamline systems and eliminate manual processes.

10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business; MBA or CPA preferred.Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (Infor Food & Bev); experience with database and analytics tools is a plus.Demonstrated success in leading teams and driving financial performance in a plant setting.What You'll Enjoy :

This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
