AEITS, Inc. , a GTSC company, is growing its team! Seeking an Information Systems ROADMAP SME to support our customer in the Alexandria, Virginia area.

Location : Alexandria, Virginia

~~~ All work is on-site. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Schedule : Day Shift - Mon-Fri

Mission : As an Information Systems ROADMAP SME supporting this government program, your mission focuses on you serving as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.  You will work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.  Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives.  Assignments are often self-initiated.

Certifications :

  • None required.

Requirements : U.S. Citizenship

Active TS / SCI with polygraph

15 years of demonstrated experience in large scale network and / or telecommunications and / or information software systems architecture with a bachelor's degree.

Education and Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree with a technical focus is required and 15 years of demonstrated experience in large scale network and / or telecommunications and / or information software systems architecture.

    • You are responsible for :

  • Thinking independently and demonstrating exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Applying advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Contributing to the development of new principles and concepts.
  • Capable of determining and pursuing courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
  • Developing advanced technological ideas and guiding their development into a final product.
  • Demonstrated expert-level expertise in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research).

    • Travel

  • Less than 10% travel may occur.

    401K with employer contribution. Fully vested at 1 year anniversary.

    Up to $5,000 annually for individually tailored education / training program.

    All education plans must be pre-approved by Advantage Engineering management.
