What You'll Be Doing

• Support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Staples Technology Team with financial oversight, management and analysis
• Manage, train, and mentor a team of 4-5 analysts to meet job / team responsibilities
• Leverage technical systems to efficiently and effectively aggregate data used to support our regular budgeting, forecasting and financial analyzation process
• Play key role in the budgeting process - Lead process to collect, interpret and explain all expense and capital required to run or grow the business from a technology perspective
• Coordinate forecast inputs, changes or adjustments with several Vice Presidents (VP) of key Technology departments
• Participate in financial monthly close process; ensure conformity with GAAP as well as internal guidelines and procedures.
• Interpret actual results and provide clear and concise variance-to-plan explanations
• Establish strong working relationships with internal, key technology department area leaders (CIO, VPs and Directors), helping them navigate the financial details of their business.
• Regularly communicate financial results, insights and outlooks to key business partners CIO, Vice Presidents of key Technology departments, Accounting, Finance and / or Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or SVP of Finance
