Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with general and OB / GYN ultrasound experience for a night shift position.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a maternal fetal unit performing ultrasound exams
  • Handles cases including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB and general ultrasound studies
  • Pediatric ultrasound exam experience is preferred
  • Night shift schedule : 3x12 hours, Friday to Sunday, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Weekday call coverage (Monday-Thursday, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM) approximately every 6 weeks
  • Holiday coverage is required
  • Responsibilities include performing general, OB / GYN, and pediatric ultrasounds in a maternal fetal setting
  • Holiday and call responsibilities are part of the role

    • \n \n Requirements\n

  • BLS certification required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, approved School of Ultrasound, or equivalent training required
  • General and OB / GYN ultrasound experience required
  • Pediatric exam experience preferred
  • Travel experience required if candidate has less than five years of sonography experience
  • License required if applicable
