Salary Range : $50,800-63,500 / year. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
Essential Functions
- Program, operate, and maintain Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM) systems to ensure products meet high standards of quality and precision.
- Possess extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso CMM; demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of CMMs and quality control procedures.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
- Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMM programs, fixturing, and measuring instruments to maintain smooth operational performance.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams during product validation and to resolve quality problems in the manufacturing process.
- Experience with MSA and Gauge R&R activities is preferred.
- Devise strategies for system enhancements to assure long-range integrity and cost-effectiveness of the measurement system.

Qualifications and Skills
Associate's degree (or equivalent) in a technical field. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.More than 3 years of experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) programming and operation in a 3D measuring environment; Zeiss Calypso experience preferred.Experience in a precision machining (aerospace / defense) industry environment.Able to communicate in basic English.Knowledge Areas / Skills
Diverse knowledge and experience in CMM operation capabilities and related manuals.In-depth understanding of technical documentation (drawings, specifications, etc.).Basic knowledge of product defect analysis and process management.Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).Other skills and knowledge :
