CMM Programmer

Salary Range : $50,800-63,500 / year. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Essential Functions

• Program, operate, and maintain Zeiss coordinate measuring machines (CMM) systems to ensure products meet high standards of quality and precision.
• Possess extensive experience with Zeiss Calypso CMM; demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of CMMs and quality control procedures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
• Perform precise dimensional inspections and analyze measurement data to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMM programs, fixturing, and measuring instruments to maintain smooth operational performance.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams during product validation and to resolve quality problems in the manufacturing process.
• Experience with MSA and Gauge R&R activities is preferred.
• Devise strategies for system enhancements to assure long-range integrity and cost-effectiveness of the measurement system.
