Job Description

Make your craftsmanship count

At Pall Corporation, part of Danaher, your work helps protect people, equipment, and the environment. Our teams advance high-tech filtration, separation, and purification used everywhere from aircraft engines to smartphones. Join a culture where diverse perspectives fuel continuous improvement and innovation.

What a second-shift day looks like

On our New Port Richey, FL campus, you’ll arrive for second shift (Monday–Friday, 2 : 15 PM–11 : 15 PM; routine overtime) and take ownership of complex aerospace parts. You’ll move from interpreting detailed engineering drawings to selecting the right workholding (chucks, collets, faceplates, vises, sine plates), building fixtures and tooling when needed, and indicating machine axes and components to hit stringent tolerances.

You’ll run manual lathes and mills, machining castings, forgings, and bar stock. Between cuts, you’ll deburr, verify dimensions with hand gauges, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, functional gauges, and the optical comparator (shadow graph), and document results to keep quality and productivity on track.

When a process drifts, you’ll diagnose root causes, correct the setup, tooling, or approach, and record updates in scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers, and related documentation.

As a senior-level Manual Machinist II on our Aerospace Machine Shop team, your precision enables flight-critical hardware to perform as designed.
