job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOur ideal candidate would have graduated with a degree in computer science, from top IITs only A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++ and Python Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities Well-versed in software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies Working knowledge of Linux Knowledge of database administration and network programming Past experience in dealing with large datasets will be a plus The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with financial concepts is not required
Responsibilities
- Using advanced concepts of computer networking and systems programming to develop optimised, efficient, scalable, low-latency, and high-turnover trading platform
- Reliability, transparency, and observability of the system
- Creating tools to analyse large sets of financial data for patterns and facilitate easy back-testing of patterns for trading simulations
- Building risk-management and performance-tracking tools
- Being the prime stakeholder for developing a motivated / high-performance core engineering team by recruiting and mentoring future hires to the team
- work in a fast-paced, close-knit, and dynamic environment, implementing fixes / features at short notice when needed
