Job Description

This position will coordinate the efforts of the team of parent educators and lead parent education courses in Spanish and English. This work will include outreach and identification of potential not-for-profit partners and associations. Parent educator course assignments and schedules will be determined, developed, and disseminated by the coordinator. Additionally, this person will establish a host of special events and family engagements, including Sensory Saturdays (family event) and Messy Mondays (family event). The Parent Educator Coordinator will administer evaluation tools. Primarily, surveys and impact data will be collected and analyzed in collaboration with the Center for Broader Impacts staff. Data and analysis of evaluation data will be used to modify and inform curricular adjustments, as well as changes to the curriculum administration.

This is a 4 year limited term position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, psychology or social work with at least 5 years of experience in working with families with young children.
• Bilingual Spanish able to deliver parent education in Spanish and English.
