Job Description

Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety, food safety regulations, and company guidelines.
- Promote trust and respect among associates.
- Communicate effectively with team members about company, department, and job-specific information.
- Set performance goals and empower associates to meet or exceed them through teamwork.
- Manage scheduling to handle customer volume.
- Train and develop associates in inventory management, stocking, CAO, Key Retailing, and other tasks.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers, answering questions and recommending products.
- Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
- Inspect products for quality and freshness, taking appropriate actions.
- Use Fresh Insights to optimize sell-through and reduce shrinkage.
- Recommend produce items to customers based on their needs.
- Develop and implement a business plan for the department.
- Work in refrigerated areas and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Implement merchandising and promotional plans.
- Maintain current knowledge of advertisements and promotions.
- Monitor and control expenses and inventory conditions.
- Ensure accurate pricing and promotional signage.
- Assist in inventory management and temperature control in cases and coolers.
- Reinforce safety programs, report unsafe conditions, and perform preventive maintenance.
- Report safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities.
- Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
