job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform basic housekeeping to keep work areas clean and organized Follow quality control procedures to ensure precision and accuracy Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauge, pin gauges, and other measuring tools Finishing Fabrication Trimming using hand routers Drilling using battery operated hand drills Installing threaded inserts Participate in Safety meetings, Production meetings, and Continuous Improvement meetings. Take on other duties as needed to support the team Associate degree (2-year) in Machine Tool Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in machining or fabrication will be considered. Interstate Advanced Materials is looking for a Machine Operator / Fabricator to join our Portland, OR team. In this critical role, you'll be part of a dedicated group that supports our plastic fabrication and distribution operations by producing high-quality, custom and OEM parts using CNC equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a 2-year technical degree in Machine Tool Technology to expand their knowledge or for an experienced fabricator looking to grow their skills in a supportive and innovative company.
