Radiology - Cardiothoracic Physician

Locum Cardiothoracic Surgeon(s) Needed in the Dallas, TX area!

Can start within 1-4 weeks for credentialing with temp privileges with a clean background!

They need every day of the month covered for a 6-month commitment to start with the potential to extend for either 1 Surgeon full-time or split between 2 Surgeons for 2 weeks every month (either 1 week on / 1 week off rotation or 2 weeks straight per month).

Mostly Cardiac Surgery with some Thoracic / Lung Surgery (General Cardiothoracic Surgery procedures such as Bypass Valve, CABG, etc.).

Will be clinic, OR (consults, post-ops, and rounding), and ER call coverage.

Clinic is 1 day a week and seeing 10 patients a clinic day.

Clinic is adjacent to the hospital in their Professional Office Building.

Clinic is fully staffed.

Cath Lab hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm; our doc(s) would need to be available for this when needed.

They have 1st Assists.

Call is every day but is light (the departing Surgeon took call every day).

12-18 Cardiac Surgery Cases per month.

5-10 Thoracic Surgery Cases per month.

Have a Heart Room always open in their OR.

Texas licensed or IMLC and LOQ in-hand, and Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of completing training required.
