Do you have a passion for early childhood education and a heart for helping children, families, and teachers succeed? At Primrose School of Fairfax, we are seeking a warm, dedicated, and organized Assistant Director to join our leadership team and help guide our school community.

What You'll Do : As Assistant Director, you will work alongside the School Director to :

  • Support daily operations of the school with a focus on safety, quality, and care
  • Foster strong relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Guide teachers in implementing curriculum and maintaining high classroom standards
  • Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring staff
  • Conduct family tours and support enrollment efforts
  • Help plan events, family engagement activities, and special programs
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing and Primrose School standards

What We're Looking For :

  • CDA or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in early childhood education or school leadership
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead with warmth, professionalism, and positivity
  • A flexible, team-oriented approach
  • A true love for working with children and supporting families
