Med / Surg RN Job Details Location : Tuba City, Arizona 86045 (Arizona travel nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel, On-Site Unit : Acute Care Unit (ACU) / Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg) Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 16, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel nurse contract Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Shifts : 12-hour shifts (06 : 30-19 : 00 and 18 : 30-07 : 00), every other weekend Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,780–$1,910 per week Housing : Shared units available at $600 / month (subject to availability; no family or pets allowed) Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Med / Surg RN or in an acute / sub-acute care facility Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association) Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association) Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of hire Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Acute Care Unit, following physician orders and established clinical protocols Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse age groups Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare standards Educate and support patients and their families, providing emotional and clinical guidance Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and quality standards in the healthcare setting Why Choose Tuba City for Your Next Travel Nursing Job?
