Job Description : Description Summary : Provides general nursing care to patients in a clinic or medical office. Administers medication, prepares equipment, and assists physicians / healthcare providers in the treatment of patients. Responsibilities : Consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patientsAddresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their familiesAdministering medications and treatments; monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed; documenting patient history, symptoms, medication, and care givenAssess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and / or caregivers, identifying issues and resources Requirements : Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor's Degree preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCompletion of Nurse Residency ProgramSix (6) months to one (12) months clinical patient care experience in a relevant settingRN license in good standing in the state of employment or a compact state, if applicable American Heart Association Basic Life Support Work Schedule : 8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday Work Type : Full Time
