Chef and Cuisine Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef and / or 1 year as a CDC in full-service, high-volume restaurantsOpen availability, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniquesProven ability to build and lead high-performing teamsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDemonstrated skill in inspiring, motivating, and developing employeesFlexible and adaptable to ongoing changesChef de Cuisine Preferred Background & Skills
Experience in events and banquet operationsPassion for Japanese food culture and dining experiencesKnowledge of sake, Japanese beverages, or pairing principlesTrack record of maintaining consistent quality and presentation standardsStrong collaboration with both FOH and BOH teams to ensure seamless guest experiencesCreative problem-solving and organizational skillsCommitment to fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
