Procurement Manager

An employer is looking for a Procurement Manager to join their team remotely (working EST hours). This person will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across IT and labor categories, optimizing supplier performance, and driving cost efficiencies. This role requires deep expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, and category planning within a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key responsibilities include :

• Leading strategic sourcing initiatives for IT (hardware, software, SaaS, infrastructure) and labor categories (consulting, contingent workforce, professional services).
• Developing and managing category strategies, including spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and risk mitigation.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Operations) to align procurement goals with business needs.
• Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitoring supplier performance and category KPIs; implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leveraging Power BI and dashboard tools to analyze procurement data, track category performance, and generate actionable insights for sourcing decisions.
• Staying informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes affecting IT and labor sourcing.

Compensation for this role is $40-60 / hr per hour. Compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
