Essential Functions / Duties

- Manage CapEx and production-related procurement activities across programs and plants.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies ensuring cross-plant standardization, alignment with business plans, and bundling of RFQs to optimize supplier engagement.
- Lead RFQ processes, evaluate supplier quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Define QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) targets in collaboration with engineering and finance.
- Pre-select and nominate suppliers, ensuring confidentiality and quality agreements are in place.
- Conduct supplier start-up meetings and communicate company‘s supplier philosophy and expectations.
- Maintain supplier master data, documentation, and performance records.
- Support project teams with price estimations, sample ordering, and supplier readiness.
- Review and distribute meeting minutes; track action items via LOP (List of Open Points).
- Negotiate and finalize development and production contracts, including productivity plans.
- Manage change requests and tooling modifications, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
- Conduct VA / VE workshops and identify cost-saving opportunities with suppliers.
- Define and communicate target prices; support technical costing and lifecycle analysis.
- Ensure completeness of inquiry documents and compliance with environmental and quality standards.
- Release orders in SAP and coordinate with planners to ensure accurate master data and supply continuity.
- Comply with internal purchasing procedures and escalate safety-related concerns in accordance with EHS policies.
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Management, Engineering or EquivalentProfessional / Technical Training :
Proficient in Microsoft Office SuiteSAP experience preferredSkilled in negotiation and contract managementStrong analytical and presentation skillsTechnical understanding of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production processesRelated Experience / Specialized Knowledge :
Minimum 2+ years in a purchasing role, preferably in automotive or manufacturingExperience in CapEx procurement (equipment, tooling, facility upgrades)Familiarity with production purchasing and launch activitiesKnowledge of customer-specific requirements and supplier managementAdditional Skills :
