About The Position

Job Title : Radiology Tech

Profession : Radiology Tech

Hours per Shift : 7 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm

Experience : Minimum 3 years of radiology / x-ray tech experience

License : Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography or registry-eligible

Certifications : Healthcare Provider certification required (BLS)

Must-Have :

High School diploma or GED equivalent

ARRT (R) certification

Description :

Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.

May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.

Performs related duties as required.

Candidates will work in three different clinics.

They will be scheduled to a clinic per day unless unforeseen circumstances occur, such as a provider being out of the office.

In these cases, workers would be moved to one of the other clinics for their scheduled shift if possible.

Most clinics see an average of 35-40 patients per day, with 70-80% of those patients requiring on-site imaging.

Required availability is 7 : 30 am – 5 : 00 pm Monday through Friday, but scheduled hours will vary according to provider schedules in the clinics.

Schedules will be provided ahead of time.

Most imaging conducted is standing spine x-rays.

Workers may be requested to perform short history and physicals for patients.
