We are located just south of downtown Des Moines operating out of a 103,000 square foot office and warehouse.

We are looking for the right candidates to help us move our company forward for many years to come. The right candidate must be willing and able to obtain a valid Class “B” CDL and pass a DOT Physical. The successful associate will also pass a pre-employment / post offer drug test. You must be able to repetitively lift up to 70 pounds. This position may be asked to complete deliveries within the state of Iowa only. No overnights and no weekends. Attention to detail is imperative, to make sure that the correct items are loaded and those items are delivered to the correct customer.

Position : Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

Compensation : $24.74 / hour. This position also has a pension, 401K option, health & dental care paid for by City Supply.

Job Duties :

• Accurately load and unload your own truck (when necessary).
• Safely deliver products to customers at desired location.
• Develop and grow current customer relationships.
• Up to 25% of time spent visiting customers at construction sites.
• Identify and build new customer relationships.
• Communicate and interact with customers daily.
• Identify and suggest solutions to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with our vendors.
• Develop a personal business plan to achieve personal goals while taking ownership of your opportunities.
• Adapt to industry trends and always work to grow product knowledge.
