The Manufacturing Process Technician will work in a dynamic production environment at the Thousand Oaks Site supporting development, clinical, and launch activities. Under general supervision, the employee will perform operations in the Manufacturing area, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on operations : set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of manufacturing equipment.
  • Prepare buffers / media according to defined manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
  • Follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
  • Perform and monitor critical processes, with basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Conduct in-process sampling of equipment and operate analytical equipment.
  • Perform washroom activities : clean small and large scale equipment used in production.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
  • Work in a clean room environment wearing steel-toe shoes, full clean-room gowning, hairnet, and gloves.
  • Initiate quality reports and draft / revise documents (SOPs, MPs).
  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
  • Assist in reviewing documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records).
  • Work within a team to complete operational tasks and adapt to shift schedules (day, swing, graveyard, weekends, holidays).

Physical and Safety Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, push / pull objects requiring up to 50 lbs of force, and stand / work on feet for long durations.
  • Perform physical movements such as bending, reaching above the head, climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, walking upstairs, and standing on portable stairs or ladders up to 6 ft off the ground.
  • Work around high-pressure systems and heavy equipment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and clean room gowning requirements.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
