Regional Safety Coordinator (Southern MN)

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Safety Coordinator to join our Egan Company team. In this role you'll play an integral role in Egan's safety culture through conducting training, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and serving as a key partner to our Southern Minnesota project teams in the field. Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Safety Coordinator include but are not limited to the following :

• Provide safety support for operations in Southern MN, including Rochester and the Kasson electrical prefabrication facility, with occasional travel to the Twin Cities and potential project-related travel outside of Southern MN.
• Align and implement Egan Company Health and Safety programs and Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Communicate and collaborate with Egan Company staff with respect to Loss Prevention goals, objectives, and key performance indicators.
• Explore, research, and adapt new products, programs and / or technology that will further enhance the company's Loss Prevention performance.
• Engage regularly with field employees to assist and monitor loss prevention efforts.
• Develop field and trades personnel through coaching, feedback, and continuous training activities to assist in building the skills necessary to execute work safely.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with all State and Federal regulations.
• Create and deliver training opportunities to all levels of employees.
• Visit job sites and customer sites regularly; perform frequent job site evaluations, determine employee exposure(s) and institute acceptable work practices.
• Perform incident investigations, document and update Egan leadership team.
• Serve as the on-site safety contact at customer sites with long-term projects, as part of a rotation with members of the safety team.
• Develop and foster relationships with project managers and other partners through performance of work.

Salary Range : $56,000-$110,000 (subject to such factors as experience, education, and / or skill set) plus potential annual discretionary bonus. This role is eligible to receive a company safety vehicle.
