Description
Primary duties :
- Load INTL containers
- Load trailer load shipments
- Load all live loads
- Close all spotted trailers
- Communicate with all traffic teams
- Communicate with all Leads in IPC
- Locate product and assist shippers
- Pick, pack and ship orders when needed
Key responsibilities :
Provide key and helpful information at staff meetingsManage time and set priorities for tasksAssist the supervisors in developing team goals and objectivesHelp in maintaining correct inventorySend emails on errors found on ordersSend emails on inventory adjustmentsFill back ordersMaintain and promote ISO standardsBarcode productTo meet or exceed customer expectationsAll other assigned dutiesJob relationship :
Reports directly to the Supervisor of DistributionWork with all departments as needed for any order concerns or inquiriesWork closely with all Supervisors and Leads on the floorWork with all Distribution personnelWork with personnel in coordinating material between buildingsSpecifications :
High school diploma or equivalentMust have computer knowledgeAbility to effectively communicate with all levels of manufacturingIPC parts knowledge helpfulGood communications skillsLeadership abilityKnow the basics on Employee Portal & NetSuiteHave a basic understanding of the manifest shipping systemAbility to train new employeesAbility to comprehend written and / or verbal communicationsUnderstanding of the Barcode systemAuthority :
