Certified Forklift Operator

US Trades is seeking an experienced and Certified Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse Logistics Division. This team plays a key role in storing, staging, and shipping high-value components for data centers, including electrical cabinets, data racks, wire spools, transformers, and other sensitive equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, detail-oriented, and capable of handling materials efficiently while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.

Handle, stage, and transport electrical cabinets, data racks, wire spools, transformers, and other components.

Inspect, secure, and prepare loads for shipment to ensure safe and damage-free transport.

Maintain accurate inventory counts, shipment records, and warehouse documentation.

Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to prioritize staging and delivery schedules.

Perform daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance needs.

Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, including proper PPE usage and warehouse traffic rules.

Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing storage areas and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification.

Minimum 2 years of forklift operation experience, preferably in an industrial warehouse or logistics environment.

Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.

Experience handling large, irregular, or high-value materials is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of warehouse procedures, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand / walk for extended periods.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in warehouses that handle electrical or mechanical components.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and shipping documentation.

Familiarity with logistics processes in data center or industrial projects.
