Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a starting pay range from $30.00 / hour - $34.00 / hour, depending upon experience . Overview :

The Yard Hostler is responsible for yard tractors, tractors, and straight trucks to position equipment to and from the yard and warehouse. Additional duties include operating warehouse power equipment and other assigned tasks when needed.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Perform pre-trip inspection and inspect trucks thoroughly
• Move all trucks in and around the premises
• Assist in picking products for production from various warehouse locations
• Operate all warehouse equipment
• Assist in picking products for production from various warehouse locations
• Track all containers coming onto and leaving the premises
• Perform acceptance of inbound loads (per company standards)
• Close and secure the seal of the truck after loading is completed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
