Job Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time float nursing opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support a K-12 school district-wide setting. This contract position will begin on August 19th and continue through the current school year (CSY). The role requires adaptability and clinical expertise to provide nursing care across multiple school locations, ensuring the health and safety of students from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key Qualifications :

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with healthcare, school, or home health experience
Registered Nurse (RN) credentials in Pediatric, School Health, Home Health, or Public Health nursing
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in diverse educational environments
Strong organizational skills and flexibility to float between various school sites throughout the district

Location : Round Lake, Illinois

Primary Responsibilities :

Deliver prehensive nursing care and health assessments to students district-wide

Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized health plans

Administer medications, provide first aid, and manage chronic conditions in line with school policies

Document all nursing interventions and maintain accurate health records

Serve as a resource for student health education and wellness promotion
