Responsibilities :
- Lead the financial close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations to ensure timely completion.
- Generate accurate and insightful financial reports, including monthly balance sheets and profit and loss statements, while providing actionable commentary.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations across accounts such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and intercompany balances.
- Collaborate with teams across Production, Commercial, and Hospitality to ensure accurate cut-offs, accruals, and inventory balances.
- Analyze financial data to support ad-hoc projects, including margin analysis, scenario modeling, and deep dives into key metrics.
- Investigate discrepancies or inefficiencies in financial processes, identifying root causes and presenting clear recommendations for improvement.
- Drive process enhancement initiatives to streamline monthly close procedures and reporting cycles.
- Utilize advanced tools, such as Excel and NetSuite, to manage complex reconciliations and reporting needs.
- Act as a reliable resource for resolving accounting challenges and supporting leadership with critical financial insights.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standards in all accounting activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or multi-entity environments.
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems, with expertise in complex reconciliations and reporting.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to present findings to non-finance stakeholders effectively.
- Proven ability to collaborate with both on-site and remote teams, ensuring seamless communication and teamwork.
- Familiarity with cost accounting and annual inventory processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines without compromising accuracy.
