Qualis LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the design, integration, and delivery of advanced technology solutions in a dynamic rapid prototyping environment at our Hunstville, AL office. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, systems-level thinking, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development of cutting-edge hardware systems, such as RF, electronic, or space-related technologies.

Essential Duties :

Develops and applies advanced hardware design methods, theories, and researches techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced technical problems.
Leads team of subject matter experts to define technical problem and architect solutions
Develops and presents technical white papers and executive level briefings.
Develops program technical approach and technical roadmap
Develops technical program plan, identifies technical milestones, and ensures progress against the technical objectives.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience

Experience with design engineering, project engineering, and systems engineering principles

Experience with digital signal processing systems and radio frequency systems

Ability to work with a dynamic, skilled team on high–impact, high–visibility projects

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications :

BS in EE or a related technical field preferred

Experience with building software interfaces to hardware

Possess excellent time–management skills to contribute to multiple tasks concurrently

Possess excellent oral and written communication skills

Possess excellent presentation skills
