About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Experience : Minimum 1 year of dialysis experience; charge experience required

License : NY license required

Certifications : BLS Required

Must-Have :

Outpatient and Chronic Dialysis experience.

Charge Nurse / Team Leader capability to run a 4 patient pod.

Ability to string and set up Fresenius machines.

Competency in 1 : 1 patient care.

Description :

The Registered Nurse will work in a dialysis setting.

The nurse is expected to work charge every shift.

Patient care will involve managing a 4 patient pod.

The role includes responsibilities like stringing and setting up Fresenius machines.

Nurses will provide direct patient care and engage in related nursing tasks.

Floating to other dialysis locations may be required.

Rotating Saturday shifts and occasional Sundays due to holidays will be part of the schedule.

Candidates should be familiar with Epic charting systems.

Additional requirements include the ability to cannulate AV fistulas and grafts.

Knowledge of infection control and emergency response protocols is essential.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and handle various dialysis alarms.
