What You'll Be Doing

As a global leader in injectables, anesthesia and drug compounding, Baxter is further accelerating our impact with a robust innovation pipeline across our key therapeutic areas, including critical care, anti-infectives, pain and oncology. Our Pharmaceuticals teams are relentlessly focused on bringing differentiated products to market that support our customers in helping to address vital patient needs.

  • Achieving or exceeding sales quotas through the direct promotion and sale of our pharmacy portfolio which includes generic injectables, ready to use injectable premixes and oncology products
  • Calling on hospital customers with a primary focus on the pharmacy department through effective sales presentations, providing technical product information, managing customer contracts and prices and support of new product launches
  • Monitoring sales against forecasts, implementing sales strategies to attain assigned sales volume and participating in the determination of market potential for the territory
  • Providing customer feedback to sales and marketing personnel for the potential development of marketing strategy, product needs and pricing
  • Working closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Promoting the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing relationships and activities

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelors Degree with 3+ years experience hospital pharmacy sales experience or 6+ years of relevant experience. Generic Pharma sales high desired
  • Clinical / RN background a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs.
  • Strong business acumen and knowledge of sales processes.
  • Candidate must live within the territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license. This is a field sales role and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel.
  • The estimated base pay range for this position is $132,000 - 181,500 annually, with additional opportunity to earn sales incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.

    Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
