The Opportunity :

A well-designed and segmented network is critical to move data and enable the DoD to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs and meet growing Zero Trust security requirements? Crafting the right secure network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, a seasoned network security engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.

As a network security engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, TCP / IP ports and protocols, and network traffic flow to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll troubleshoot, design, and deploy network security policy to increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical networked applications.

• 2+ years of experience with Illumio Core or Illumio Endpoint in a production environment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
