WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant (prior pediatric experience preferred).
  • Completion of an accredited dental assisting program, including DANB, or a willingness to obtain a Certified Dental Assistant certification while working for GVPD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about making kids feel comfortable & cared for.

    • RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Team Leadership : Supervise, mentor, and support a team of dental assistants, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Clinical Support : Assist the dentist with all procedures, including examinations, restorative, and surgical procedures, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Patient Care : Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit and provide instructions for post-treatment care.
  • Inventory Management : Oversee and manage dental supply inventory, placing orders and ensuring all materials and equipment are ready and available.
  • Compliance & Safety : Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and sterilization standards.
  • Training & Development : Conduct training sessions and skill-building activities for new and current dental assistants.
