Technician

The technician will be responsible for reading construction design requirements to build trusses and wood panels in a yard setting. This role involves picking and staging lumber, cutting it, and constructing components using hand and power tools. Instructions are conveniently displayed on TVs throughout the shop area, eliminating the need to handle physical paper blueprints.

Work Environment

The position operates in a shop / yard environment with 51 current employees and 8-10 crew members per building per shift. The first shift runs from 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday. The dress code requires construction attire such as work pants, sweatshirts, gloves, and steel or carbon toe shoes, with adjustments based on weather conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 / hr.
